Just got back from early scan

booked a baby bond scan and have just got back. Got to see our little pip...measuring a rather tiny 4mm but could see and hear the heart beating. Thought I was 7 weeks but the sonographer dated pip at 5.5-6.
I feel assured that little pip is alive but not sure the scan has done much to stop my constant worrying...in fact it might be worse, now I know there really is a little person growing

Ive got an early scan next week and ive dated myself at 7 weeks too

Scan was very exciting although I thought I was going to burst from having drunk so much water beforehand!!

Giggling to myself imagining my FIL predicting twins! Afraid this wasn't me.

I had a babybond scan at 6+3 and baby measured 4mm.. I'm 13+3 now and my dates stayed th same so I'd so you were about 6+3 too xx

That's what I think too Beth, worked out from ov date rather than LMP.

Yep, 3 lovely pics of Pip!!
They also take some measurements and count the heartbeat. Pip was beating at 110 beats per minute!!

Yay for early scan! I can't wait to have a scan when we catch! lol I imagine I'll be worrying non stop though!! When's your next scan hun? x

Haven't had my booking in appt yet so scan won't be for a while. That's one of the reasons I went for this one.
