I've put pictures on FB of my cushion I made today in the shape of an 'I'. My SIL commented on it and asked what it was for, there's only one person with an 'I' starting their name in our family which is her daughter.

Now if someone made something you suspected was for you or your daughter would you comment on it if you liked it or hated it?

She wrote

"What is it for? Are you making Daniel a sign?" on one of the pictures which to me is a huge flashing bell she well knows it for Imogen BUT would you put something like that if you wanted it or if you wanted it not to be for you? I don't want to give someone something they don't like but at the same time I've really enjoyed making it for them.

No point Laughing It's in a girly fabric and the only girl in our family with an I as her name is Imogen.

She might just not want to assume iykwim? If i suspected it was for me (or one of my kids) I'd probably ask who it was for and then expect a "you, you wally!" in reply.

If I hated it I just wouldn't comment...

Would you comment if you hated it though? I just don't know if the comment about what it was for is a hint that she likes it and wants it or really doesn't like it.

Thank you! I hope she does like it. She mentioned that you can get them from mamas and papas for a tenner, maybe she'd have rather had one of those?

The ones from Mamas and Papas are like decorative hangy things whereas this is most definitely a cushion! It's over 40cm tall, 17cm wide and 7cm deep.
