tattoo while ttc ??

in a way im glad pf went down and gave me the bunker because i found a member (thanks tadpole ) with an avitar i havent seen before i would love to have it as a tattoo but is this ok or should i wait ???

if you could make sure that you had your tattoo before OV then i'd go for it as they don't take too long to heal.

i stopped TTC for a while because i was going to get a tattoo and i didn't want there to be any chance that i was PG and getting tattooed.

you have to book and pay a deposit im in 2ww at the mo OV'd cd10 so i only really get a 10 day window and OH has said no now said i goto wait ay well

I'm a tattooist so I can give you a proper answer on this one!

Getting tattooed before or during pregnancy carries no actual risk over and above the normal risks associated with tattooing.

The reason we don't tattoo pregnant women is because its an un-necessary risk, however tiny, that you could get an infection, or have some sort of shock reaction etc. The risks are minute, but nevertheless it is an avoidable risk.

If you could be pg, ie. 2ww then to be on the safe side you should wait.
