About bloody time - the Ghurkas

I am so chuffed today that they have finally been allowed to stay in the UK, they have done soooooooooooo much for our country. I have met quite a lot of Ghurkas through out TA squadron and they are all so lovely and some of their stories are so touching of what they have came up against for our country!

I am so glad the PM/immigration dept have finally seen sence and let them stay in the UK if they wish to!

I know!! I have been wondering for the longest time just what the problem is!?

I heard it on the radio but havnt read anything today on it.. does it mean families can stay? like that woman who's husband died fighting for this country and then told her she had to leave the next day or something..

The government said if they stayed it would have cost the UK some rediculous amount of money.... but these people have battled for our country!!

If the MP's didnt claim for all their shite then we would have the money to cover for caring for these brave people!

I agree. They and their families should be allowed to stay. They risk their lives for us, and unfortunatly many of them loose their lives.

She is great!!! She was standing up for them as her Dad was in the forces with the Ghurkas and had so much respect for them!
